Must say I've been kinda wary of most Scoobys and Evos for the last few months due to their superior traction and renowned all-weather, gizzmo'd capabilities, plus you never know quite which model you're behind . Imagine my pleasure earlier today with the Tiv all shiney & polished and me out with the roof down (of course) when nutter in bespoilered silver WRX hoofs it round the A19 roundabout North of Tyne Tunnel as if the muts nuts were verily made in Japan. Problem is, soon after, at about 80, he finds me in his mirror where only there was crystal blue a second before. So he makes the mistake of changing down, the traffic clears and it's a lovely straight dry uphill road. Evo's 'The Knowledge' figures jump into my head so I know he's really going to struggle, but there was just no struggle to be had. Feet to the floor in fourth and the words baby & candy seem appropriate . Didn't have time to wave (the roof-off experience is fierce at the speed we're now doing), but it settled my mind as to which I'd rather have. So! - don't feel all out-Scoobied in the dry, just pick your entry speed carefully and embarras 'em. Not that I usually drive like this, of course. And not that I'd ever take on a P1, you understand. Well, any other WRX stories 2B had? Just passing the time - Tant.

ps. just don't ask me to keep up with one in the snow/mud/slightest drizzle/threat of a hint of a possibility of rain, etc etc!
