Hi there - I need to rent a "nice" car for a corporate Golf Day that we're sponsoring in October - one of the prizes will be to win it for a weekend.

The only people I've found is Smart Cars (www.smartcars.co.nz/) who will do me a Boxster - anyone else any other ideas??

Thanks for any suggestions

Matt

Hi there, Google found this :

Dreammachines (Not sure about the "s", It looks like a single Ferrari)

Which golf course are you playing out of ?

I'm not sure I'd give a mid or rear-engined car to someone, who's never driven one before, for the weekend.

After that I'd probably ask the bigger, flasher car dealers like Giltrap Prestige, Continental Car Services, or Coutts etc

The other thing about Auckland is it will rain a little, unless you're very lucky

And here was me trying to help

There are lots of people here who own nice cars (such as a Black Esprit) and many of us give people rides, but I'd have a stroke if someone drove off in my Westie . . . even if I'd given them permission.

So no chance of me seeing how it goes on gravel then? or even better, using it as a snow-plough?

Can you amagine a couple or family piling into the westy? One for each wheel, someone could sit on the bonnet, the other could hang off the wing and do superman act when they are driving along. Your right I am with you and would never lend out my car to a complete stranger. It would have to be huge money before the keys are handed over to cover the stress levels and potential damages!

We've done a combo of the two . . . It took about an hour to get the nut shells out of my brake ducts after the PH visit to the Macadamia Nut Farm Café
