I went along along today. Great day out, which cost nothing! I met some of the EERC team and they were all very friendly. In particular I had the oppurtunity to have a chat with Steve Wood (EERC Press Officer) who I have to say was a seriously nice guy. The provisional entry list looks fantastic and I would encourage anyone who has September 9th and 10th free and hasn't already booked tickets to get along to Silverstone, it will be a fantastic weekend.

I have uploaded my photos onto the usual website, which can be found here

Ray.

You'll have to check with the Met Office in the days leading up to the event to find that out. Race teams can't predict the weather two and a half weeks in advance, sadly.

Then you need a better Team.

It will be overcast on the Friday with a potential spit of rain around 7.00pm to 8.00pm

Saturday morning will be bright getting overcast towards the end of the day. Rain will start around 7.15 - 7.45pm and carry on through until around 1.00am though never torrential, more of a dense mist.

Sunday will be dry with sunshine 11.07-11.43, 13.02-13.05, 14.17-15.36 and then a fine evening.

The wind will vary from 7mph to 13mph

Temperture between 7 celcius and 17 celcius

Our massage oil will be maintained at a constant 36 degrees celcius and the fridge temperature will vary between 2 and 3 degrees.

Hope that helps.

Henry, you better make sure Pete is in the car during the above times then, leaving you to perch (somewhat seductively) on the edge of your hot tub, with scantily clad nymphs splashing beneath you.

Easy this endurance racing lark laugh

This year we have re-assigned the budget and spent the Hot tub money on ladies and baby oil.

For team members personal consumption only within the confines of the motorhome village we are assembling.

You`re right, it is a hard old business this endurance racing.

Must dash, got my 9.00pm Thai massage coming round in a minute.
