Seems like it's going to be sunny this weekend, particularly on Saturday. Any Tiv owners in Beds fancy showing me some good roads?

Love to Tony, only Tivs' on holiday @ TMS. Few odd jobs being sorted before Bruntingthorpe.

Ordinarily i'd definitely be up for it, even just for photo and video purposes, but i'm away on a course for the weekend.

The weather is definitely getting better though, so will more than likely make the next one!

Happy hooning! Tony

I knew I'd seen your motor somewhere on Pistonheads. Saw you coming off the Bedford bypass on Wednesday lunchtime as I was on my way back down to West Sussex.

I'm up at Bassingbourne next Sat. so may be up for a burn on the Sunday if you're around.

I used to go out the back end of Renhold/Ravensden up to Grafham Water a few times. Occasionally saw a couple of Tivs there. The pub in Perry is good (Bob used to own The Park in Bedford if you know it) so not a bad pit stop.

Ah, Ian - I remember seeing you. The Green Chimp?

There are no good roads that I know of around Beds, I was hoping someone was going to prove me wrong.

The Park is a nice pub as far as the building goes - but the food is crap (slow, expensive and cold). I live almost next door to it. Crazy.

Blue Chimp as it happens but close enough!

I used to go in The Park a lot when I was living with my folks just off Putnoe Lane (many moons ago). Bob used to kick us out occassially. He was a fan of the Mazda RX7's.

'Ere noodles, was that you on the Southern bypass about 16:30 today?

And no, there are no decent roads in Bedford.

I don't think that was me as I was watching the football scores at that time.

I was on the Southern bit of the bypass at some stage yesterday. I had a satisfying experience with a BMW. I pulled into a parking spot to make a phone call. Afterwards I was pulling out of the bay onto the dual carriageway and chap in a BMW 740i pulled into the outside lane to let me out - by the time he was level with me I was doing 90 and he looked quite shocked to see that I he had not overtaken me. Anyway he persisted in continuing with the little drag-racing lesson until his limiter cut in.
