I can even deal with kayc blinkered view on the 996 Turbo
but who is this person who keeps slagging of the GT3 RSs?
If he thinks the 964 NGT is the greatest 911 Porsche has ever
made ... fine

I just dont like him talking down a GT3 RS ... a car he has never owned

Don't worry he seems to be a nice guy really, I believe it is DES from PCGB 964RS register.

Having spent the last few years baiting the PCGB GT3 boys he has honed his expertise enough to take on the might of Pistonheads.

Official clothing for the register includes rose tinted glasses & a pair of blinkers, these are worn after the brainwashing course!

Anyway don't stress it, you have to feel a little sorry for those less fortunate than yourself, I did try & suggest a new register logo for the PCGB site, but the 964RS guys didn't seem keen can't understand why!

964RS: From a time when men were men & fillings weren't important. (Dentist association car of the year 1993)
964RS: Suspension optional
964RS: Someone's gotta love em
964RS: Voted N01 road car Masochists Monthly.
964RS: They don't build them like they used to (thank goodness!!)
964RS: Warning Danger: stand back: owners hot air expelled.
964RS: My other car is a proper Porsche.
964RS: Well even Porsche have off days.
964RS: (please insert your own suggestion below:

Anyway no offence intended I love 964RS's really, but a bit of "counter baiting" can't hurt!.......

Thing is, they've gone a bit quiet on the PCCG forum after being whitewashed at judgement day. The attendant GT3 drivers are far too polite to mention this, but not being there I have no such qualms

Dont start getting sensitive now, one of ur lot got me quite sweaty at BH last week, Gp circuit good for my kit ..........then Rancy told me he was on slicks .............felt quite young again !

To be fair Tim my 'blinkered' views are mainly in defence of the tt,which according to most opinions on the ph forum is the worst car ever made by Porsche whilst the GT3/gt3rs are sublime masterpieces of engineering without failings. My comments are just trying to balance that view a bit for people who may not have had the opportunity to have tried or owned both..blabla

Jesus, who cares who he is, or for that matter whether he slags off RS's?
Last time I looked this was a free country.
What is it about the internet, people feel the need to defend the car choices they have made to people they've never met?
Just enjoy your driving and don't give a stuff if people don't agree with you

Oooh, I'm not sure about that. I had a Morris Marina once. I don't recall sticking up for it, but I did and someone was to slag it off, I think they'd be right
I think part of the problem is this faceless world where people don't know people so are more aggressive. Anyway, put a name to a face and people often ease off. Look, here's you 6 years ago....
PS. Do you REALLY have a Twingo? I think that justifies some baiting

I can do Wed 13th - count me in!

Has Des made an appearance on PH then? I left the PCGB forum because of him hehe
Lee F also posts here from time to time.

Sorry for the off topic post but in case anyone's interested in doing a Kent run this Sunday:
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.

PS: The 996tt is better than the GT3RS
