Thinking of buying my 1st Ferrari

I am thinking of buying a 348TB (Probibly a targa). I have around 30k to use if I sell my TR6.Most of the stuff I can see advertised is around 1992ish with 25 - 35k miles.

Will I get a decent reliable one for that sort of money? what can I expect it to cost to maintain / keep in good condition.

Any help will be welcome as I can be a little impetuous and dont want to buy a duffer.

Get it inspected by someone who knows the cars well, budget £2-£3K per anumn and you should be ok, buy it right and it shouldnt depreciate too much. Good Luck

Adverts, prices and mileage mean nothing.

Buy on condition.

Which means you need to look at lots of them, so that you can tell a good'un from a duffer.

I looked at several. All sub 20,000 milers, all priced about the same, all described as near concours.

The difference between the best and worst was staggering.
