Ok having spent all weekend in the company of some very nice pork, I have come to realise that my own stock C2 looks a little too high and could do with having some minor suspension mods, especially to tighten it up at the front.

The question is does anyone have any recco's for kits that may be approprite. I use the car as a daily driver, and having owned my cocyx for so long I dont what to go the whole GT3 route and ruin it completely. although having said that I was very impressed with the pointability of a blue GT3 someone tried to kill me in on saturday - its for sale apparently....

Is there anykind of compromise that anyone can suggest or is it just best to leave it as is.

of course I haven't even started working out how I am going to pay for it

My experience is this:

unless you go mental and spend ££££££ fully fiddling with the car, you won't really notice much difference - especially on public roads. The only tangible benefit will be looks and the 'brag value' of saying "Its got XXXXX suspension..".

You will get far more benefit by spending the money (which you say you can't afford) on some experiences with the car as it is - either track days or a road trip (say to the 'ring, the alps, Stelvio etc).

When you're old and grey, you'll get more pleasure from your memories of that great trip in the Porsche than your memories of the suspension upgrade you put on it....

..just my 0.02c.

the only option I can think of is the turbo suspension, bit firmer than the standard C2, bit lower, but wont turn your car into a full on bone shaker.

if you come ot the lincs run on sunday ill let you have a go of mine, its got the turbo suspension on it.
