Any one else think they have found a use for all that production assembly from the old Vauxhall/Opel Astra?

Ignore the flaired wheel arches and slightly altered roof line/lights.

As usual Roger's comments are marred by verbosity hehe

I struggle to know who copied who these days when it comes to GM. Sometimes it seems like a competition to "out-bland" the other division.

Suspect that colour will be a key factor in how the new commodore looks. Orange & carbon-fibre would be good.

Bit boring. The computer image shot - I like the flared arches, thats it. Bit of a copy cat all ready been mentioned by G.

It's at times like these I thank god I'm colourblind.... mind you the orange/black combo works well on the S2 Exige... but that's an attractive car to start with.... this is just a festering sore on the backside of the automotive world..... for that matter so is every Holden

So you won't be leading a PH tour party to Bathurst then?

Aaaah the new Commodore... grrr.

Apparently we've all been in the dark ages and this cars something so new and revolutionary its like comparing a horse & cart with a Mac F1.. I hate advertising that makes such blatantly untrue claims thewy cant even see reality. Having DSC or whateevr gadget they've strapped to the ABS does not make it new or intresting, its just another large saloon, a Gm one at that.

Oh at least its not that stupid listening tea advert ,grrrr...

Every time i see the new Commodore i instantly think Holden Astra. In the polls forum over at Skylinesdownunder (.com) i've asked what people think if this new car - i persoanlly hate it and prefered the last Commodore shape a million times more.

I hate the look of this thing.
I usually love wide wheel arches, but from the front it just looking like it's had its nose punched in!
Just wide, flat and featureless.
