After the collapse of the cavalcade last year Ive been asked to organise this years.
See what happens when you criticise!

Things are early doors but the police are offering to staff the event with two motorcycle out riders and we are looking for 6 marshals
(any volunteers?)

As organisation progresses Ill keep you in touch
We're looking for 100 TVRS lined up in model order
Should be a spectacle - motoring press are being invited.

Excellent news - though I don't envy the idea of getting all that lot in some kind of order!

6 Marshalls

Mathers
Amps
Law
County
Crenshaw

??? No - got me beaten there, only got five.....!!!

Good luck, though - whilst everything was against the organisers last year, I hope you really get the support.

I am only a possible at the moment (due to good old job problems) but if there, I'd love to help out where I can!

What are the marshals for?

We usually just line up in order of appearance and then when its time 3 2 1 GO!

Can I make a suggestion based on the problems experienced last year. It would probably be better if the cavalcade initally met in the car park by the station ( where the main event was on Saturday last year ). The cars could then be easily dispatched in model year order as desired and lined up in front of Pontin's ready for the start. If you try to meet up in front of Pontin's from the start I don't think this will be achievable. It may also be worth considering starting from the car park itself as I'm not sure, especially with the general public parking there as well, that you can get 100+ cars in front of Pontin's.

Umh - pointless really having a "TVRCC Club" do and allowing non members!
WIth a name like Tuscan S you should be dipping deep and coughing up the £40 it costs

I would appreciate members ideas (within legal reason!) as to how to achieve best results

The parking will be no problem
Police cones will sort that

Marshalling will be for Model grouping and to turn cars at Pontins
Also assists comms which was non existant last year
