Im looking to buy some new 13x8 Superlites and have been thinking about wrapping them in some Yoko A048 Tyres.

What do we think? The car isnt an everyday car but it is likely that it will be driven in all weathers and possibly on the track once a year or something. The car is a show car and I think these on some 8" wide wheels will look great, my only concern was looking at the tread pattern and are they really for the roads or just the track?

Hi

my only exp with Yoko's is with the A008, which were/are damn fine indeed. i wouldn't think you would/could go wrong with the ones mentioned. try posting on the british mini club forum too, as they are a great bunch and willprobably have some real life comments for you.

I have a set of A048Rs on my Dolomite Sprint. Granted, it's 130bhp RWD, but it's a handfull in the wet on them.

I have been told by a few ppl now they they could be real trouble in the wet so might give them a miss. Dont fancy hitting the NOS button and the wheels just spinning on the spot!
