993 turbo 430

first badged 430 I have seen,

I assume its a 996tt running gear in a 993 ?

dunno about that but I'm pretty sure that 993tt's could be had out of the box with 450bhp (x50 pack)

The last of the 993TTs came with 430bhp. The 450 upgrade option was standard on the 'S'.

A 430 bhp GT2 upgrade was available from Porsche when the car was current, for £6k or £8k. Kit consisted of a new ecu, an oil cooler and an exhaust modification.

Note no changed internals, just ECU to get to 430 and ECU plus K24's to get to 450. Plus oil cooler in both instances to keep things cooler.

Classic wheels vents in the arches and huge rear spoiler as standard

never actually seen one "badged" as a 430 though
