They are window corner to glass mount on a Granny whereas the GTO is body mounted on the door. That would look very strange

That's odd, I wonder how they fit as they appear to be a windows corner mounting but the car again has a body/door mounted mirrror.

Their stock mate.
The Ganador mirrors still use the stock mounting points, but made to look like corner mounted.
Uhhm, I have to say I do much prefer the original.
Late rx7 mirrors perhaps, that's the kind of look I'd like.
I have already bought some Audi TT mirrors but I'm not sure about them - they're also a pain in the rectum to fit (I fitted some on my Tiv a couple of years ago).
