Thinking of buying a Weber 45 second hand, what do i need to watch out for? Will a refurb kit, which is presumably a load of seals and gaskets sort it out completely or is there wear in bushing / spindles etc which can cause problems?

hi i think you can get service kits which will include seals and gaskets but you can also get rebuild kits which would include all seals gaskets etc plus spindle/butterfly etc and if you still need the odd bit big internet shops like minispares of minisport will more than likely have every component for each carb.

You can get them a lot cheaper than minispares etc. Why does Keith drive an Aston?

I'll ask my mate where he got his from. He will know the cheapest place

yeah there are loadsa places prob cheaper than minispares/sport but they will more than likely have the parts, look at back of mini mags, places like mini mine, mini and metro spares etc should be competitively priced
