This vid was doing the rounds a while ago. Its pretty nifty Im not sure there is anything particularly special about the brakes mind. But if you mean the 'stoppy' at the end of the vid, then the fact that the mini has been shortened quite a bit will be the main contributor for that. Plus I expect its been extensively stripped and lightened too. So it will have no trouble getting the rear up.
