Japanese Import Valuations

Does anyone know of a source for valuations of japanese cars within the motor trade or insurance industry, such as the Glass's guide or CAPS black book.

I'm persuing an insurance claim and would like to know where the insurance company is getting their valuation from. As far as i'm aware, and have been told my several car used car dealers and importers, there is no such thing, whereas the insurance company assure me there is.

I thought they just used autotrader and picked a similar car to judge a rough evaluation from, there is no specific guide to prices of them I'd imagine.
