FYI...from another site. Not sure if it is accurate but it was from a credible source. Maybe someone here can confirm?

The facts about registering a pre96 car via MANZ for motorsport use.

1 / The application for exemption must be approved by MANZ prior to the car leaving Japan.
2 / You must prove you have held a competition license for a minimum of two years.
3 / You must have been a financial member of a MANZ car club for a minimum of two years.
4 / The road use if it passes all requirements is limited and it cannot be driven as a "daily driver"
5 / It must comply with all other requirements for the MANZ autority card and road registration.
6 / Bolt in cages from Japan do not comply with MANZ.
7 / The motorsport exemption is for the owner/importer of the car and cannot be passed onto a new owner if the vehicle is sold.
8 / LTSA may still turn you down after you have imported the vehicle.

These are the facts straight from MANZ.
Any ****wit posting a car for sale either here or on T/M and are saying any different are bs'ing you.
