Finally got round to watching Mondays Fifth Gear today, truly awful as I think alot of people on here are aware of. I see the Roadster Coupe was very well received, which is great for me as I sell them for a living. The car has been selling great since the unveiling at the motorshow in July.So much so any orders now you will be lucky to see yours this side of March 2007. I drive the Soft top version of the new MX5 as my company motor but I still havent driven the hardtop version. My customers who have part exchanged the Soft top MK3 for the Coupe says it doesnt feel any different just quieter.Be interested to hear from other MX5 RC owners to see what you think

How long will they product the rag top version then? Seems a little pointless now.

While it is still selling they will keep making it. As i say i drive the soft top and when that goes back I will have another soft top. I have the strength to raise and lower the roof from the driving seat and I have no fingernails to break

£1760 more expensive but the RC does come equipped with Climate control and Ipod connectivity as standard on top of the convenience and security of the electric hard top

I assume if there not giving them away the hardtop for the softtop is about a grand anyhow...

Not bad value realy.

Can't find any difference other than the coupe is as you'd expect, a lot quieter top up and locked. You have to marvel at how neat the system is, that it doesn't halve the storage space in the boot unlike other more costly roadsters. There is still strong indications a more powerful engine is on its way for a luxury version making it worthwhile waiting to see its output before buying.

There better not be LOL! mez a placed ala order already!
