Also anyone know any 1973 RS replicas out there??
There's more replicas than originals.
But, be careful, there is a lot of rubbish. A really good 're-creation' will be £20k plus, and the best ones are over £40k. Alternatively, a really nice rhd 2.4E in original spec and condition is probably a good buy. Or, if you want something closer to a 2.7RST, but with more modern engineering, how about a 3.2 'Club Sport'?

Ahhhhh, yes the hills (where legend has it the best car Porsche ever made was a 2.7RS and the best car BMW ever made was an E30 M3, and the good old days were soooo much better weren't they ?)

Pop over to www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/index.php if you are interested about early cars. Lots of owners of early 911s, great place to ask questions and if an early car or replica is up for sale it's generally discussed here.

And her knickers would slip right off if you had her in that 930 of yours, YDB.

Were not made to a price, hence the majority still on road, don't breakdown and in terms of looks also hold value.
Also the retro look is back and values are rising.

Wouldnt be so sure they are cheap to run......parts prices are high for original bits and MFI bits and pieces scarce thus expensive..............great cars though, just wish I had bought the black 2.4S RHD for £5K 15 years ago
You should have tried restoring one in the late '80s as I did. Trim parts were rarer than a rare thing and I had to travel the length of the country to find seats, door trim etc. Then when prices dipped again in the early '90s they all came out of the woodwork! At the Husbourne autojumble the other week there were plenty of early trim parts...even Trevor Messett was asking sensible money for stuff
But it is true to say that there are some poor cars out there - full of filler - caveat emptor for sure
