In my quest to work out which car I want (and to bother most of PH with questions about the cars I've looked at!!) I've now moved on to the cars I've loved for ages. The Evo 8 and Subaru.

Took a 2004 EVO 8 MR320 with the 340 upgrade out today Love it! I've always loved these cars and this one showed me just why. However I'm scared off by the running costs (servicing mainly) I'm not going to be doing many miles in it, but it it needs a service every 6 months, what are the costs going to be like? Any feedback would be great.

On my way out of the dealership, I noticed this WRX STI It's got the PPP pack and only needs servicing every 12 months, and is 3 grand less. What are they like? In the real world are they that much slower then the Evo? And will they be as happy on a track as Evo?

Cheers!
