Another satisfied ACT customer

Following the recent threads about silicone hoses, decided to get some of my own. Now all fitted and I must say well worth the money. Highly reccommended if you like nice engine tidy engines.

I repainted the metal pipes and polished up my expansion tank also, which added some time to it. Just fitting pipes could be done easily in a day if that was all you intened to do. It was of the road for winter so I had plenty of time. Cruising again as of tomorrow. Yippee

Oooooooo! - Phil that looks great. I'm not a great lover of blue hoses but your engine bay looks fantastic. What did you do your chissis with? Was it smooth silver hammerite?

Yes it is. I gave it a light buff up with scotch brite first then the hammerite, its only the areas I could get to. Bit over the top removing the body really. I bought the blue ones as the were similar colour to my car. The other bits were sprayed ina close match to the hose colour. Indetailing standards it is way off, but compared to most cars I have seen at dealers it stands out. I really should drive it more I think.
