My mum (who is 76) had her first car accident recently - fortunately nobody was injured, unfortunately it was her fault.

She has a four door Rover 200 which is about 9 years old but has only 30,000 on the clock. It's garaged and absolutely mint. This little car is ideal for her really so I'm advising her against buying a new one.

The nearside rear door is badly dented (too much to pull out I think).

What would you do? Find a door from somewhere or pay the big bill for a new door from a dealer? Or is there another solution?

Thanks in advance.....

Hi - you may well find new doors are no longer available. This is certainly the case with MGF doors but the solution I found was to buy a S/H door from an MG Rover parts specialist and have it professionally painted to match.

Google for mgrover parts or rover parts and several firms will come up.The one I found was in Burnley but there were others across the country.

Best of luck
