Hi this is my first post on PH ive lurked about for a while, but only just decided to register. I own a late 2004 Mini Cooper S Works, which has a pretty long list of modifiactions, which include GT Tunning pulleys, GRS intercooler, Miltek manifold, Magnaflow catback, Quaife ATB, Alloy flywheel, paddle clutch, brembo brakes, BBS wheels to mention a few bits an pieces. I also help run a midlands Mini forum - www.miniaddiction.co.uk were a friendly bunch dont hesitate to drop by

My car looks something like this:-

Hope you like. Any of you mini owners fancy testing your cars on a rolling road take a look here, you will need to be registered an logged in to view, but it will be worth it:-

Really nice car! Looks awesome, especially those wheels! I just thought I'd sort out the pics so people can see it! (For some reason the normal PH image code wouldnt work with the URL?!)

Like I said awesome car! I really am tempted for a set of spots, think they really set the car off.

Thanks for the nice comments any of you up for the rolling road day on the 3rd of march at powerstation in tweksbury?

Im thinking of taking the spots off tbh as i think the car will look smoother, an its the start of my non essential stuff binning, won be to extreme but power to weight an all.

Jolly beaware spots are not reomended on the diesels cause of airflow for the intercooler

The bloody diesel gets restricted on loads of stuff, MINI wont fit an aero kit either!
Mind you in the case of the aero kit, even if you were to go it alone a new exaust would be needed to fit the pre cut hole.

As a side note do they provide alot of light?

I do love the look of the aero kit, its something I would really like to do once I have paid my parents at least half of what I owe them for the car. I definatley intend to keep it for a few years after Uni (then progress to a Cooper S, hopefully a JCW)
I really want to do some mods to it, the only problem is being 19 insurance is a big issue. Cheers for the info!

That is suprising!

Out of pure interest before I got my MINI, I tried for quotes on a Cooper S, nobody would touch me on the online quote systems. Insurance for a cooper was pretty reasonable though!

Very nice looking car that you have there . When the warranty runs out on mine there are more than a few things I'd like to have done to it.. At the moment all that's been changed is the stereo

My dealers always been fine about mods.

Jolly the spots help a bit but i have xenons, so with the halogen lamps probably make much more difference
