My garage is home to this thing, it's an ex competition car, has been stored for years and gears in a dry garage, the floor and foam filled sills are perfect, the A panels are fine. The boot floor has been welded badly by a chump. Attention will be needed to the rear valance boot mount seam. I think the shell is a semi lightweight. The running gear is off a 1964 850 as the owner kept the crazy bits, the weber box has been removed and repaired by someone with a gas welder and no talent. The paint is a horrible pea green and the shell, although one of the most rust free is covered with lots of weeny dings. The headlining is in it, as is some red interior, the thing was originally white, has a reg no but the V5 was not applied for but is a 6 figure jobby. My mate picked it up as he was going to put it on the road as is with a silly engine but is now waiting to get one which has had the work done on it.

He's looking for about £500 which I reckon is cheap. It isn't a roller at the moment (front subby out) and it isn't good for it being in my car port. I'll pass his number on to anyone who is interested.

I've seen the car and as LM will attain have pestered for months to let me buy it, sadly the car came up at the wrong time when I'm full of cars and no money!

The car is as described a smashing project with very little work to make a nice car.

Ok, car is in SE Cornwall, PL11 3AW. I'll take some pictures and post 'em in due course.

It is full of boxes and junk but is kept in the dry. The pictures will just show a tatty old mini, you need to appreciate the lack of rust. Really old minis don't seem to rust.

It would need to be trailered.

As Mr Wild doesn't say, it will pretty much go on the road if you bung it together but to make it A1 like quite a lot of concourse muppets will want will take a lot of mucking about. It's ex-competitions and has been given a beating. It's not rusty but has been properly rallied.

It will need to be resprayed 100%
