Due to change in circumstances I have to sell my 911.
The dealer I use is going to take it back at a reasonable price & has offered me a 2000 Yreg 4 door 2.0 impretza sport, in silver with 40000 miles on it and full service history for £3500.
I know nothing about these cars, can you guys hepl out?
are they any good? I was thinking off puting WRX alloys on it. is this common?

From what i've read over the years i believe these cars are pretty crap... It might be good for towing a caravan but as a decent drive you'd be better off with a Mondeo. You can get a 2003 V6 Zetec for around £4000! Even less will buy you a decent 306 GTi-6 which is a proper car.

As for putting WRX wheels on it - as the old saying goes...."you can't polish a poo".

Hope this helps (seriously...stay clear)

A freind of mine had one of these for a couple of years.
He said it was a very good car, BUT you have to remember that it is NOT an Impreza TURBO, and don't be fooled by the word SPORT. If you want something fast look else where, ( a turbo perhaps? ) Why not drive it and see what you think?

A slow Impreza is like a broken pencil - pointless. There are a hundred better ways of spending £3,500 on a used car.
