LSV carry loads of badges etc in stock. Sure they would negotiate on a full set of wheel centres and badges. Only one thats a real pain in the ass is the steering wheel - to do it properly costs around 350 quid iirc but with a sharp knife and a steady hand you can replace the steel badge in the centre.

The warranty covers Vauxhall vehicles only and is administered by them. Any claims on Holdens need to be refered to Australia directly by the customer!!!!

so would only invalidate the warranty if the dealer wanted to be picky,
thank god for that dont want to be paying rrp for new speedo head,
good point to know though, never even thought about it before.
think masking tape over the badges next time it goes in lol

I've just recently finished off re-badging from the previous owner...got most of it from JHP in Oz - however, LSV do a complete kit (can't remember the cost!) - wheel centres, badges F&R, sill plates, even the centre of the steering wheel badge - the lot! Give them an email or visit their web site!

have to say that changing the badges has got to be the quickest and silliest way to waste money on the car

Its an interesting point, I considered it but then decided if people don't respect the Vauxhall badge, they will when I demonstrate the V8 power!!
Also it won't really help with the "what's a Monaro" question, now you'll get what's an HSV and that may be more difficult to explain.

Ultimatley I just ditched the Vauxhall badge from the rear which is really the only one anyone will get to see!!

And there is something cool about a Vauxhall demolitioning all but the most hard core sports cars!!

Gotta be an insurance issue if one rebadges it surely?
i.e. it isn't what it's represented to the ins co.

I know that's being picky but, well, one never knows...

Anyone from LSV frequent this establishment, I've contacted you peeps twice (once via email and once via phone) to get a price including P&P to N Ireland for the full badge kit (2006 CV8) and still no reply

give them time baz - they will get back eventually. better to keep trying on the phone I've found when contacting them. Mark can't always answer if he's on the rolling road - can't hear the phone apart from anything else!! Think Tim tends to deal with email enquiries once or twice a week.

I figure now that the car's been featured in Total Vauxhall I can safely swap the badges over and aim it towards Total Holden next laugh
