Anyone here got a Mini with high bhp after tuning?

I am talking anything over 220 bhp. How did you achieve the power gain?

Thanx.

What he said

plus:
GTT in blandford dorset,

West tuning somewhere near reading i think.

Have a look at MINI2.com plenty on there to help you out.

Ive had work by GTT and Lohen (and I have one of there project cars) - both very good - if you want any more advice.

BBR said best way is a modified cylinder head and remap.
25 bhp extra.

Over four thousand pounds!

OK, he suggested their stage 2 tune, about 25 bhp more for under £2K inc. vat, fitted.

scratchchin I have not looked into it myself and am certainly no expert, but wouldn`t an replacement chip/remap give some decent results without spending ££££££££££££sands on head mods ect. The GP is already moded in that area, increase boost pressure on the charger maybe?? spin

chiping a GP is waste of money as the JCW flash is good better of fitting a decent manifold and some better rubber as whats the point in all that power if your on runflats and imo some better brakes as the jcw ones arent the best and the GTT chassis braces

Chiping on an s seems to be a bit of a waste to me tbh
