Very cool idea...and i like the idea of my name on a formula one car (even if it IS only able to be seen under a microscope)

I think it's a load of bollox. Slapping a picture of the Earth on a car that does about 0.5mpg to 'raise environmental awareness' is pretentious in the extreme.

The car looks good i think, i wasn't too sure with the press photo's but saw the car today on the Australian GP practice and it looked pretty good.

free practice 2 times from crash.net
11. Anthony Davidson GBR Super Aguri-Honda 1m 28.727s
12. Jarno Trulli ITA Toyota-Toyota 1m 28.921s
13. Takuma Sato JPN Super Aguri-Honda 1m 29.009s
14. Jenson Button GBR Honda-Honda 1m 29.066s
15. Rubens Barrichello BRA Honda-Honda 1m 29.542s
Obviously theres no way of knowing the set ups they were running but jenson said 14th was a realistic reflection of their pace!

Shame about Button, I hoped he could do well, but looks like hes going to be the next Coutlthard, without the 2nd place in a championship that is....

currently I dont think button will ever get anywhere near Coulthards points total or race wins total. Coulthard might even add to his win total this year, especially at monaco and maybe more if they manage to get the car set up properly.

To be honest its actually a bit of damage limitation and playing on the current buzz-words.

Honda couldn't secure the high level sponsers they were looking for so this was the best of a bad job..

Sadly at the current time it is all show and no substance..

it would probably be more competitive if they stuck a boggo standard S2000 engine and gearbox in it!

Feel kinda sorry for Jenson, Honda fans pin all their hopes on him and he seems to be held back by Honda. For all their experience, WTF is going on at Honda lately?

You can see the politics clearly in play there.

"2006 Honda is the first automaker in the world to announce global CO2 reduction goals for its products and production activities.

2007 Honda Civic GX is recognised by the Environmental Protection Agency as the cleanest internal combustion vehicle on earth.
"

Don't suppose those two recent pats on the back are related in any way, shape, or form?

My mate came up with the best description of that;

"It looks like a Hawaiian shirt," (spelling)

Someone should tell Honda the aim of F1 is to go fast, its not to pretend to worry about polar icecaps or panda bears.

It's the ploy of getting gullible punters to donate money to them in return for having their name printed microscopically small on the car that irks me. May as well pay for a certificate showing I own an acre of the moon or having a star named after me. Utter rubbish.
