Firefox Problem

Hi all,
I've been having a problem viewing pdf's on FF 2.0. I previously used Foxit Pro Reader, and although pdf's would show on their own tabs, I would have trouble switching to other tabs, as the pdf screen would continue to show, with the incorrect tab. I then reverted back to using Adobe Acrobat. Now, I can't see pdf's in FF at all- I just see a blank screen/tab. I can only actual view a pdf if I save to PC, then open it.
I've tried reinstalling FF, and Adobe Acrobat, and also uninstalling my Add-ons.
Any ideas? Or should I just dump FF and use Opera (which I haven't been able to customise to my needs).

seems i am using an extension from www.pdfdownload.org/
lets me view pdf's or download them in firefox, assume ur using 2.0.0.3 ?
