Morning Webteam!

Just thought i'd make sure you were aware that there seem to be some scammers targeting the PH Classifieds at the moment.

I have two ads placed, one for an A3 and another for a Tag watch, and have received enquiries from two separate scammers operating from Yahoo.com addresses.

The first email for the watch was quite convincing, asking relevant questions and offering a mobile number for me to call (out of service when i eventually tried) but the subsequent replies to my responses were far poorer in terms of spelling and sentence structure. Add to that the fact they wished my family and I all of 'Gods best wishes' and i was pretty certain there was a scam on the go.

The email for the A3 was less convincing and as the email began "Hello im engineer Craig. Please tell me what you will require for the item and send me pictures so a bank draft can be issued." i just pressed delete.

I guess there's not an awful lot that can be done about scammers like this so just want to warn people that PH seems to be getting targeted by scammers.

Best of luck (from God and the like)

James
