re. the doesn't the ship look small ... yup. I was on a ferry coming out of Portsmouth and you could look down onto the deck of these things. The ferry was quite a bit bigger. Guess that's the benefit of having a VTOL aircraft like the Harrier.

Compare to this:- www.naval-technology.com/projects/nimitz/ floating Gatwick, but prettier and with better parking.

Neat bit of publicity from TVR. Well and truly off the wall.

I notice there is no barriers on the edges of the ship. Now would I trust a TVR handbrake

As Morgan won't be there, I would say that's pretty likely

thought the same thing, but couldnt bring myself to say it for fear of retribution.

I guess when they both finish they will prove a point.

Donlift - you muppet,

Morgan arn't racing @ le Man this year, The French won't allow it. (nothing to do with the war of course!)

However in the 50's when the same thing happend, they returned the following year (proofing they were entitled to race) to win the 2ltr cat. averaging 90 mph.

I don't think TVR was even an un reliable thought in someones mind in the 50's.

Secondly the GT morgan uses the Alpina's b10's 4.6 , that bmw magazine (very good journists) consider better than that of the m5 !

I hardly think TVR engines have alot going for them in terms of reliabillity ( which is a key factor @ le man) and if? they do, It must be the body shell alloned which losses value faster than a bar of iron losses mass in a bath of acid!!!!!!

I'd call myself a morgan fan. But I'll agree. The car was sh1t. No point in being unrealistic, It was totally outclassed but everything last year. Didn't deserve to be in the race this year, done no racing since Le Mans last year (except GTs @ combe).

SKYWALKER. I don't care whether it had a Mader tuned B10 engine in it or an engine from a Boeing 747. It was slow!
