Nick,
There is always the normal run of the mill stuff like Dainese, Alpinestars, Arlen Ness etc or you could have a bespoke set made by BKS, Crowtree or Hideout and the like. It all depends on your budget to be honest.
I've always been tempted to get a BKS set of leathers but they are not cheap so I'll still have to save the pennies

CROWTREE! No other choice!!!!
For the price of mid range leathers you get made to measure and they are so well made, I wouldnt consider anywhere else. Only downside is I know they are closing this year for retirement so they may have a full order book til then. But try them, you won't get any better!

How about having "This Way Up".......
Sorry couldn't resist
I have a set of made to measure BKS leathers and they really are top notch. They are now 10 years old and still look as good as new. The zips all work and none of the stitching is looking like it might be weakening. Absolutely superb but; they are expensive and they are heavy. (Mine weights the best part of 6.5kg.) (They also seem to have shrunk around the waist in 10 years!!)
I had a set of Hideout leather before the BKS and they were very good but not in the same league as the BKS kit.
I have always gone for the two piece zip together leathers as they offer as much protection as a 1 piece assuming it’s a full, all around zip, and they are way more practical allowing you to take the jacket off when you stop for lunch on those sunny Sunday afternoon rides.

My Hein Gericke were excellent went i came off, would highly recommend them. I had the HGR 2 peice suit. The good things with HG is you dont have to buy all of the suit in the same size like when you by a suit for work. You can say buy 36" waist bottoms with a 44reg jacket. This help me get my belly in
