I hear a lot of good things about these clay bars but never used one before.

seeing as the sun is shining today i'm gonna give my car a good going over this afternoon & I fancy getting a clay bar to try.

I have a Halfords about 2 mins up the road so can anyone suggest which clay bar is good for a first timer?

Many thanks

I'd guess that if Halfords is your only option, then you are limited to Meguairs.

Luckily, it seems to be the one most highly rated. I used a "Clay Magic" one yesterday though, which was also very good.

well halfords is closer to me so I just assumed they'll carry a couple of different brands in stock.

The Meguiars Quick clay kit from Halfords is an ideal starting place IMO.

I would personally use a sonus green clay as fairly mild and Halfords sell zymol autowash shampoo which is great and can be used as a clay lubricant...

I mix 1 capful to 1 litre of mineral water and spray away....

Halfords 3 for 2 at moment so get going!!!
