ive had a mazda 6 2.0L tdi for 6 months and i feel the need for more power, my previous car was a renaultsport clio cup so its abit of a performance difference, does anybody know of any ways of squeezing more power out of the engine?

Piggybackchips/programmers are nice because you can "undo" them at anytime, if you want more power after that then propane or nitrous oxide injection.

cheers trooper.
ill look in to some sort of remap or piggyback chips. i need to go with mods which arnt guna be noticable as its a company car and i dont think theyll want me tinkering with the engine! found a dump valve but dont think thats really guna make much of a performance difference!

Dastesk do a tuning module that piggybacks onto the ECU that gives more power. I thing the VAG 1.9TDi can be lifted straight to 170BHP with no modifications (apart from the chip) at all and up to 225BHP with and uprated intercooler and bigger turbo + chip.

Massive generalisation....

It may be to a degree, for the mass market cars, but even Dastek dont accomodate all of them.

Does the Mazda diesel have anything in common with other brands ? or is it their own engine ?
