Have an EFI warning message plastered on the Pod which occurred two weeks ago.. spoke to the dealer who said that it was probably moisture (cos the cars running well enough) and that my pod software (Jan 2001) didn't allow overrides so a trip is needed purely to reset it. no probs cos it'll be a nice ride out... Aked him if it was Ok to drive like this and he said yup as long as its sounding/pulling as per normal.

Anyhow went for a blat last week and when I got out I noticed a dangling connector coming down from the central bit of the steering column into the drivers footwell - gulp! Does anyone know what this is, is it a spare or is it something that should be plugged into the back of the Pod (i.e. sensor readings) and hence my EFI warning light.

could somebody check theirs out for me or let me know what it is/could be.

Ta in anticipation....

That is the connector they use to plug the laptop into!!!!!

So nothing to worry about !

I also initially thought it was something loose. Typical TVR "They are all like that sir"...

Cheers mate, thought it might have been but didn't look to much like any laptop connection I'd seen before - more like a Power connector.

Trip to dealer is therefore imminent methinks.....
