Has anyone heard of wishbone/suspension problems with early E90's? My 55 320 d tramlines quite a bit and can be twitchy.Put it down to the RFT's but having driven a 07 120 d i'm not sure they are the only problem! The 120 drives straight as a die!!Mike Brewer mentioned a "problem" on his Auto Trader program....How True??!

Had a tramlining/twitchy issue on seperate occasions on both my E46 M3 and E39 530 sport that was solved by new front tyres and 4 wheel alignment check.
In both cases the front tyres were over 50% worn and had become "stepped" across the profile width. I am told that some BMW's are particulaly sensitive to this type of wear especially with wider tyres.

The wheels and tyres where off car that had only done 4k! Maybe 4 wheel allignment might help as they are not the original size wheels.
