Picked up the Tuscan on Saturday, just in time for the nice weather over the Bank Holiday. What a great car, never thought I'd say it but it beats the old Griff in just about every department.

A couple of numpty questions if I may...

I've noticed if you're driving slowly eg around 30 and you are in second or third the engine seems very lumpy, put it in 4th and all is fine. This is the opposite to the Griff which prefered the revs to be higher, is this normal...

And, when cruising on the motorway I've noticed a slight lurch every so often as if I'm lifting off the gas. I assume this is me needing to get used to the throttle response which is far more sensitive that the Griff. Hopefully this is all just me needing to get used to the characteristics as it pulls like a train, but the dealer is excellent so there'll be no issues...

Just for the record it's Starmist Blue over magnolia and navy and I've spent all weekend either driving it or peeking in the garage....

Thanks for the help and advice I received through this forum, especially Tom and the Tuscan Checklist...

My car exhibits the same symptoms and I notice a lot of threads on this forum raising the same issues.

It's been suggested that it's down to lambda sensors, or throttle pots, or worn throttle bodies, etc. It certainly feels like the ECU is altering the fueling based on one of the ECU inputs.

This is an issue I'm keen to resolve and I'm going to speak to my dealer about it at the next opportunity.
