Does anybody know how many LHD S-es have been made. I'm driving a V8S and only 400 were built, so maybe only 30-40 LHD are made. Would make it a rare species. Who knows the exact figures?

Thnx,
Marcel Holland

Hi Marcel,

Don't know the answer to your question I'm afraid, but just wanted to say that's a very nice looking S you've got there.

I don't see many S's out and about in the UK, so they must be as rare as rocking horse sh1t in the Netherlands!

Take it easy,

Richard

they are if you have an s1
also see p61 of Graham Robson's TVRs vol. 2, the v8s in the picture has the same wheels

around 91/92 they exported about 9% of production of all models, made 408 V8S in total, so mathematically speaking 36 left hookers. (p126/7 of same book)

That's a very nice V8S! Thanks for the complimaents on my car too. I like the S1 slots too, they remind me a bit of the old wolfrace rims.

Question: Sitting on the LHD side I can look along the V8S-bulge(?) . I wonder , when you sit on the RHD side, like in the UK, and you are not too big, can you see anything at all??. Don't you hit the pavement or low posts?

Regards,
Marcel

I thought you would've known!
TVR's are so individual they made the bonnets handed too

P.S. Nice car!
