GTR testing at the 'Ring

GTR news 2: A hard days work...

Love these images. Look in the background of the picture on the left: what a great job eh, lapping the 'Ring in a convoy of prototypes for the next and eagerly anticipated GTR. What, you get paid as well?

You go first. No, you go, no you...

Just one more lap...
Just one more lap...

Well they are quite similar in mechanical spec. Both six cylinders, both just over three and a half litres, twin turbo, with RWD biased complex all wheel drives systems.

The main difference's are that one has the engine at the front and the other is at the back and one engine is flatter in layout than the other.

They've used porsche as a benchmark in the past. Not really aiming that high by using them imo but it's a useful tool for comparison I suppose

If you watch the vids of the Nissan, the Porsche seems composed and flat through the bends with little tyre noise whereas the Nissan is less so.

Still a good motor though it looks!

quick shot of it without the masking all over the front. Sounds interesting.
