Hi Simon

It's 40litres each side or 7.5 gallons in old money. I mapped one of the tanks a few weeks ago for my new gauge. The new gauge started playing up though yesterday. All good fun!

Are you pulling fuel from the correct pipe (can't remember which just now)?
One of the outlets at the bottom of the tank has a pipe inside which goes right down to the bottom. If you are drawing fuel from the other one then that is where your missing 5 litre is sitting.

I use the rear most connection for the fuel pickup. Definitely remember checking with a bit of wire that this had the pickup tube attached to it. The other low connection I use for the EFI return. I've never had more than about 72 litres in the car from dry (before I fitted a surge tank) which works out at about 36 litres per side.
