Hi fastcarl !
Well, the NHRA have www.nhrasportcompact.com/ ,
and -I think- the fastest FWDs are in there.
In germany, there is a forum www.dragracing.de ,
where there is also an "english spoken" section.
The fastest german FWD is doing 10,80 now, a VR6 Turbo Polo.
There is a greek doing 10s with a 1.8 Turbo (?) Honda,
maybe you can find something @ www.greekdragster.com .
And there are, of course, the scandinavians,
where a VW Golf Mk1 did 10,2 ,
maybe Tezzi @ www.eurodragsternorth.com can help with info.
Cheers,
Benni

As it's a bit tricky for me to know what exactly you're looking for, I think it's easiest to search at google. Most swedish/norwegian sites/forums are in those languages, but if you write what you want to know I'm sure that they will answer.
You've got the biggest(?) drag racing forum at: www.nitroz.se/plank/planket.asp
Then you've got www.dragrace.se/ (another forum)
The norwegian one: www.ndrg.no/forum/
One of "my" registered drivers at Eurodragsternorth.com, who drives in Sport Compact FWD has his own website at: www.carmaniacs.net/
Other pages with general info on swedish dragracing where you might find some info that you're searching for could be something like: www.lazzat.se (swedish association for any kind of driving) and they have a forum at http://forum.lazzat.se
