I am putting some 17" wheels on my 96 555 and i may need some larger wheel nuts can any one tell me what thread size they are or if any could give me a contact no to order them

Probably M12 x 1.25 x 19mm

M12 Stud width
1.25mm Thread width/pitch
19mm Hexagon Size = 19mm wheel nut socket

Larger in what way ? The studs are still the same.

Do you mean threaded right to the end ?
If that's the case you can get Speedline nuts but the face may not be angled correctly.

Don't you get nuts with the wheels?

thanks for the replys guys i have used m12x1.25 nuts but with a 21mm head before and the wheels that are coming dont have nuts so i am just confirming the thread size if i need to order some of the larger head type nuts. every things just a mad rush to prepare for track eve at cadwell on wednesday

Ask the guys supplying you with the wheels if you need 60 degree seat, radius seat or flat seat. Baring in mind you would have quoted your scooby model when purchasing these wheels i imagine they might be the 60 degree taper nuts.

Have a look on this website, they sell all the wheel nuts you could want and then some. They also sell lots of other cool stuff.

P.S. As you are having new wheels go for the Alloy or Titanium nuts. A fraction of the weight of steel nuts and they'll never go rusty.

Nothing worse than rusty nuts!! hehe
