But wait, that's nothing yet. See that georgeous Chimaera 450 in Antigua Blue on Adrian Blyth's web site? Well, I have put a deposit for it this afternoon. In fact "YIPPEEE etc" is a bit of an understantement but I would struggle to put the delicious sound of this burbling V8 on a post - albeit Pistonhead.
All this means now is about the time to start worrying about logistics. Like ,any TVR in London, mine will be parked on the street - heart rending but the car park option costs 3.2 grand a year. For this price I have the car completely repainted twice, so the economics are a no-brainer. I am seriously considering the purchase of a car cover, but I would need to answer a few qustions before going for it. The questions is simple:
I leave in an area where parking permits have recently been enforced. Placing a cover on the car means our happy council cops will not be able to see that I have paid my bl**dy permit. I know this sounds a bit daft but the last thing I want I collect my car from the pond - even more expensive than the car park !!
Other than that I am the happiest man... just can't wait!

Cheers

Cut a hole in the cover and fill it in with plastic, enough to expose the permit. Job done!

Enjoy!

Good move. I've been street-parking in London for the last six months without any problems. No scratches, no slashed top or tyres. Mind you, I did get mugged standing next to it, but that's another story...

Congrats!

I am street parked in London, luckily still swerving the permit malarky though.

Nothing has happened since I have had it, but thats only two or three weeks (all appendages crossed).

You'll love it, they are wonderful!

Matt.

Well done - good choice - I saw the car on Adrian`s website - fantastic colour combination - enjoy - drive through as many tunnels as possible with either the roof off or the windows down!!

Good site for covers is
classicadditions.co.uk
