I`ve now decided to ditch my setup, and go for a new system from .......

AERO TEC LABORATORIES LTD.
European Operations: One Patriot Drive, Rooksley Park, Milton Keynes, England MK13 8PU
Tel: (0)1908351700 Fax: (0)1908351750
e-Mail: atl@atlltd.com

Injectors are standard 2004 GTO, but output is over 400bhp
Baring in mind, I`m fitting a supercharger over this winter.

What pump pressure and flow rate should I go for ?

Internal or external pump ?

Any of the Walbro 255lph pumps will cope easily with that power, and plenty more.

GSS342 etc internal, or GSS392 external.

Or a Bosch 909 is a fairly cheap capable pump ( 044 is the daddy, but not really that much better than a 909 )

Walbro would be the cheaper though I think, and flow a tad more, although if you were thinking of running over 7 bar of fuel pressure, go for the Bosch wink

Dont think you'll need to though lol

For simplicity's sake, and the fact your injectors will normally be used at 58psi, stick with that. Otherwise you will need bigger injectors sooner for your goals.

I think the std ones are pushing it approaching 450-500 or so ??

Edited, just read the SC bit.

In the US, they still get impressive results from the Walbro's.

Id throw away your injectors, they are too small.

get some 60lb Siemens injectors ( the small black ones....excellent items ) Then you have enough injector for almost any power you will make.

May as well go for the 044.....

Its tricky to state power capability with this, as it varies from one side of the world to the other.

Some UK folks say 4-500bhp.

Some US say 730rwhp....Aussies would be similar, but their horses tend to pull harder than the Yanks, so its even more impressive. Flow ratings range from 180lph ( Bosch claim ) to 420lph ( Yanks claim ) or circa 330lph, some Aussies claim.

So either way it is a very capable pump.

I use 2 biggrin
