Does your car use any extra oil compared to it's un-charged state?

I seem to be using less. Average of 19 to 20 at the moment including some city driving.

18ish on average mostly urban
low to mid 20s on a average m/way trip
no oil consumption noticed

Never less than 22.

I did however average 4mpg one day recently.

May be wrong but the Harrop is a sealed oil unit meaning it has no draw on engine oil so should have no effect on engine oil consumption.

But I have my moments and can go down to 14/15

my old did not use any extra oil. just keep an eye out and watch your oil level.

22 - 26mpg (did manage 30mpg once but got very bored travelling at that speed on the motorway!)

relatively high mileage on my car 94k and does about 70miles per day (90% of which are on the m56) which may contribute
