just a quickie,
is the noble ok with regards to entry and exit angles getting on and off the tunnel train?

am sure loads of you will have been across to spa or the ring so i thought i would check.

if its risky maybe i will remove the splitter what do you think?

3r by the way

There was a 3R infront of me last time I used the Chunnel, got on fine, infact it seemed to have better front clearance than my car did.
Also if you let them know your concerns in advance they're rumoured to be quite helpful in terms of making sure you can get on and off without damaging splitters etc, though I didn't bother and got on fine.

Sean -shouldn't have any problem at all. Just make sure you get on the lower carriage of the train (staff are pretty good at spotting the low riding cars and directing them accordingly). I'll be heading over on Sunday myself (2 days at Spa biggrin)

Sean,
Trick is to follow the lorry/truck/high vehicles signs as you board the train. You then guarantee that you get on the lower deck.
Cheers,
D.

Used the 'Chunnel' last year for Megahoon in my M400....c/w retro fit 3R style front splitter, and had no trouble at all....also on that trip was a Mosler MT900, again, no trouble. Hope that reassures you. Shaun+

No problem on or off the ramps. Just be careful opening the doors inside the carriage due to the high "kerbs" - and remember to drive on t'other side when you arrive! biggrin

Worse problem is opening the doors at the tolls! Just remember to park very close to the passenger side wall to give you enough space to get out on the driver side.
