I certainly don't recognise it and the only mid engined Jaguar was the XJ13 which was monocoque. However, I've sent the link on to a couple of Jaguar racing specialists and we'll see what comes back. In my book, at the moment, it is just a special.

I concur, there was only one XJ13, and it was a monocoque, not a tubular effort.It was written off then rebuilt by the Jag trust and is in thier museum, I believe, it gets the odd airing at shows and in magazines.

There were a huge number of specials built in the 50's and 60's for racing, its probably one of those. It'll take a far sighted and brave man to tackle that as a restoration.thumbup good luckyes

Hi,could you post some pictures of the front and rear.ta suspension and hubs to see what the bits box was,ta.Tempus

hey tempus, I've posted some pictures of the gearbox in the same thread in the Jag forum, Apparently its a fairly unusual one for the early 60s/late 50s with inboard disc brakes!
