Evening all biggrin

Went for a run in the car tonight, a little spirited driving, you know smile

I noticed a slight clunk on landing woohoo at the rear of the car. I've checked the exhaust brackets ( mine of course is a standard exhaust at the mo but has no centre (chocolate) bracket ) and all seem sound. Anyone any ideas?? Other than the noise it handles as usual and all seems well biggrin

Any words of wisdom greatfully received.

Did wonder about that but the engine bay was too hot to have too much of a fiddle without leaving molten skin on various bits biggrin

Will check it tomorrow though. Cheers.

The rear clam can bang about a bit at times on less than smooth surfaces particulary under braking.
Your dealer can adjust some stops to rectify this.

Just hit the bump stops? That sounds like a bang.

The clam, as mentioned, can also happily rattle around.

There is a wicked hump on the way to the cottage. I hit it at 0.9 units and really really took off once. If you get the stones to rattle around you know when you are airbourn wink

Could well have been that as all seems secure under the clam. It's due it's annual service soon so I'll get MV to double check.

I haven't got any stones in mine, I keep it clean laugh either that or taking off dislodges them all thumbup

Cheers all for your wise words. If anything drops off I'll let you know.

I don't carry one any more as I don't have any money left after 'she who must be obeyed' got her hands on it wink

What, 4am start to get south in time, call me a wuss but after a boozy Saturday night, there's as much chance of me being up that early as there is of me flying! Hold on didn't that happen in the Noble the other day whistle
