Reason i'm asking is a neighbour, who is a drug dealer to boot comes home incredibly drunk,so drunk in fact that he can't walk.He gets home, takes his orders for drugs over the phone, then goes out delivering them. Now so far i have called the police 14 times about him.I describe the state he's in,when he leaves his house, roughly, within 10 minutes, when he'll return and nine times out of ten where he's going(i hear him just downstairs). This guy is going to kill someone,he can't even change the gears while driving! In a small town like mine surely on the nighshift they can't have anything more serious to deal with than a potential killer out on the road. One night he came back after delivering drugs two streets away, police had been called again,no-one turns up,this cretin actually was so drunk that he parked his car, left the lights on and engine running and went back to his bed!I told the police about his car sitting running and they told me they would have to see him driving it!!!!I find this really hard to get my head around?

Well if he's too pissed to walk, how else do you expect him to deliver the drugs?

Apparently, where ever you live, not.....you could tell them that he has a remote garage door opener, that should get a couple of squad cars, dog handlers and a helicopter round in no time.

To get a job at court you have to be seen driving or its drunk in charge which is getting harder to prove. Police will have this as a broadcast message so that anyone nearby may have a float past/ keep the index in mind. This will not be an attend on blue lights and sirens call and with issues regarding surveillance it gets complicated now days to sit up on the chap. You also phoning at a busy time of the night when most patrols will be at jobs. Just as he has not been arrested does not mean they have not been looking for him or that they have not made efforts to catch him.

Small town like your will only have 3 or 4 officers on and we have a lot of things to deal with until about 2 or 3 am even in the smallest towns. Normaly someone beating the crap out their wife.

Also if he is only two streets away and out for short periods of time the chances of being seen are pretty minimal. Have you also conveyed the information about his drug dealing and offered the officers a chance to carry out observations from your place of residence?

If he really is that pished up every night, then next time you see him run outside and smack him one across the face. Hard.

Chances are, when he comes to he will not remember who hit him or infact what happened at all.

Hours of fun.

The only way to guarentee that police won't attend an incident straight away is to say someone has a gun. I promise you that you will at the most get a drive past of the location.

People always think this gets the police there but with all the issues around authorising firearms and cordons and intel checks and special branch checks it does nothing to get officers to you at all. In fact it will most likely double or tripple the time.

So,pray tell me, what can you do to get the cops to an incident on the double, short of driving past the speed limit.

Tell them the kettle's on.

To the OP - feel free to PM me this clown's details, and I'll do the best I can to flag him up to your local Officers.

If he left his car unattended, engine running after he gone to bed in my area he wouldn't HAVE a car to deliver drugs in by the next morning.
