I can't claim to be knowledgeable regarding the regs surrounding Le Mans series cars and to the best of my knowledge an Ultima has never taken part in the series, but does anyone know whether or not in principle they could race in the series?. Presumably they would go into the GT1 class ?. I would have thought they could be competitive too - anyone else have knowledge and/or thoughts ?

I Don't see why not just engine would have to run restrictors, but Colin Blower ran restrictors and still managed over 600bhp on Pete Knights dyno...
Would have to have a certified roll-cage and some other mods bigger wheel bearings ect,
but I think it would be possible..

Only down side I think the factory wouldn't support it. They didn't help any of the Race cars so far.....

short answer is no...

it's NOT a FIA Homologated GT1 or GT2 car any more, and without massive work and factory support (even if just for the paperwork) it will not get homologated, that's before you consider what you would have to do to make it competative..
