Last Friday I picked up a 2006 (06) B7 A4 2.t Quattro S line Special Edition...

Im really liking the car although only done 100 miles in it so far there are a couple of things I'd like to change and need pointing in the right direction...

Firstly I really really dont like the speed sensitive steering... can this be turned off?

Can I change the door opening on the key fob to open all doors at once?

There are also a few bits I want to retro-fit, maybe some of you have experience of one or two?

Clear front indicator lens
Sat Nav
Colour DIS
Bluetooth
Tow bar

Lastly I think the car sits ever so slightly too high hence Im going to look into lowering it by about 20-30mm. Can anyone recommend a particular make for this?

Howdy, thats a long list of things you don't like considering you've only just bought the car!!

You can alter the door lock ting by taking it to an independant or dealer garage. They will hook VAGCOM up andchange that.

You've got no choice on the The suspension, you would be best asking on audi-sport.net along with other cosmetic mods.

The DIS is a pain to change and may not be possible for little money.

You could probably pick up an MFD 2 sat nav for it but if im right i would have come fitted with one of the new units which are massively expensive second hand. Think over 1k plus fitting!

Hi,
If your DIS is anything like mine, you may be able to select the locks using the settings there.

also i suspect that as for retro fitting original sat nav its a no no as I was led to believe by my dealers that it is on a different wiring loom which has sensors on the wheels and hence to retrofit means a new wiring loom £££££££££££ . As to all the rest I have no idea.
